Optimal transmitter location using multi-scale algorithm based on real measurement for outdoor communication

In the era of wireless network communication, demand for determining best transmitter (Tx) location is constantly increasing especially in outdoor environments and localization-based services. this paper, localization optimal a Tx has been achieved electrical engineering technical college by using received signal strength (RSS). We install practical devices to measure all regions. Where each device consists two pieces which are AirMAX sector directional antenna broadcast piece (router board). measured RSS four directions point selected regions NetSpot software. An algorithm was created MATLAB software determine average power (ARP), quality (ASQ) as well calculate coverage (AC) based on locations deployed real environment. Overall, results obtained showed that effectively demonstrated it able compared other college. Furthermore, we find large effects when changes from one another because surrounding environment effects.
